Life is quiet and we are settling into a good routine, before and after school and are enjoying are Saturday’s together.
This weekend was spent outside, enjoying what feels like the end of the Summer. The sun was shining, it felt mild and we were able to be outside with no coats. I’m having on with all my might! Bear has worn school trousers once or twice but is still mainly in shorts. I love seeing little boys in school shorts, they look so smart and traditional.
It wasn’t much of a surprise to me that when asked, Bear wanted to go to our local farm, Monk Park Farm, his favourite happy place. He loves to be with the animals but also enjoy’s their straw barn and this visit, perfected the rope swing perfectly. He was so proud of himself and so was I.

That rope swing looks like a ridiculous amount of fun. We had a farm just up the road from us when we grew up and we spent many days in the barn, playing in hay and swinging on all the ropes.
