I am following the old style ‘Green’ day plan which allows me to eat 2 Healty Extra (Hex) A’s and B’s. Initially, I will be eating these if I choose to but over time, I intend to drop to just 1 Hex A and 1 Hex B

When I say that I am eating fruit, I eat a mix of fresh nectarines, grapes, apples and banana’s, tinned peaches in juice but drained. tinned mandarins in juice but drained and frozen Berry’s.

One thing that you’ll notice quickly, is that I like to save all my syns for snacks and treats and try to make most of my meals syn free. I eat dinner with my son and so tend to want to snack at 8pm. That’s when the syns come in useful!

I drink coffee throughout the day and use 1 of my Hex A allowance for skimmed milk.

I hope you find this useful and please do let me know if you have any recipes that you think I should try.

Love

  1. Ooh, I had no idea those Gosh burgers existed. Will have to take a look at them as they sound great. Whilst we aren’t vegetarians we do try to limit meat to 3 meals per week or so. Thanks for all these ideas, will definitely keep checking back for more inspiration!

  2. Oooh I have just registered with Slimming World, these meals sound lovely! We are not vegetarians but have a lot of meat free meals so I will be keeping an eye out for SW ideas x #mealplanningmonday
