The I’m Going to BritMums Live 2015 Meme
Well, looky here, little ole me is heading down to the big smoke (where I used to live and ADORE) for the first time since I became a Mummy. It’s bittersweet as I’m desperate to bring little man but I’m calling it a trial run and we’ll head down later in the summer and sit in Hyde Park. Heaven.
However, there will be none of that for me this time for I shall be hobnobbing and mingling with some of the UK’s finest bloggers! I’m attending BritMums Live 2015 where I’ll be able to meet lots of the bloggers that I have chatted to online and also the ones whose blogs I have followed. I’ll also be able to take part in workshops and learn lots from the guest speakers. I’m not going to lie though, wine has been mentioned and as Friday night is the Brilliance in Blogging awards, it sounds like its going to be a lot of fun!
Apologies for the lack of smile but this is the most recent photo that I have. Please say hello!
* Name Hannah Atkinson (Lazenby on Facebook-just to confuse you!)
* Blog Hannah Spannah Coco Banana https://hannahspannah.co.uk
* Twitter ID @HannahSpannahCB
* Height 5ft 9inch
* Hair Blonde
* Eyes Blue
* Is this your first blogging conference?
Yes! I feel a bit of a fraud as I’m just really starting out but everyone has to start somewhere I suppose?!
* Are you attending both days?
I am. I live in North Yorkshire and so its a fair trek down and I want to make the most of the opportunities and learn as much as I can (and drink wine!) It’s going to be hard though as other than a week in hospital, I have never had a night away from my 3 yr old son!
* What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015?
Meeting people and attending some of the sessions. I can’t decide which ones though. I’m looking forward to hearing who the inspirational speakers will be
* What are you wearing?
Eurgh. I have no idea. Whatever takes my fancy on the day. Possibly leggings and a dress with flat heals. You’ll not miss me as I’ll be accessorising with my crutches!
*What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015?
Friendship, inspiration and knowledge. I’d love to come back from it and use the insights I have gained and really improve my blog and blogging.
love
You’ll have a great time. Drink a glass of wine for me x
Thank you Sarah! I will for sure
It’s my first BritMums too. I’ve attended more of the other events but this is my first at the big one! From what I’ve learnt at other events you will love it!! They’re always so atmospheric (especially when the wine begins to flow!). I’m going down from Liverpool so its a mission for me too. Defo not one to take the kids to though, mums night off, hehe! Look forward to seeing you there xx
I’m really excited about it Ally. I’m not too shy but I get embarrassed on my crutch and the attention that it brings. Please say hi if you see me! Hope to catch up with you. I’m staying Friday and Saturday night so it’s a real break away!
Have a fantastic time!

Welcome to your first BritMums, Hannah!
If you need anything just holler – I’m one of the “butterflies” this year and I’m there to make new and returning attendees feel as welcome as possible.

P.S. I love your blog design!
Thank you ‘The Ginger Warrior’! I can’t wait. Glad to hear that you are one of the butterflies, I’ll hunt you out x
Oh you will have a blast, I am sure, everyone is so friendly and we all share a love of the online community 🙂
I’ve only just found your blog via the BritMums linky, but do so hope we get chance to chat over the weekend. I’ve been reading your about page and I think we’d have a lot to chat about. I also have Hypermobility (and other chronic health issues), my husband has Small Fibre Neuropathy, and I am even reading out one of my posts about how chronic health issues affect the entire family at the Bloggers’ Keynote. As you can probably tell, I am hugely passionate about raising awareness of chronic health issues and supporting and encouraging others on the same kind of journey as we are!! So, yeah, would love to chat with you at some point if you’d like to too? 🙂
Amanda, I’d love to meet up, thanks for suggesting it. I’m sorry that you and your husband suffer- that must be so hard. How amazing that you a reading a keynote!!! Are you nervous? Excited?! I’m going to find you on social media and then at Britmums, I’ll be using a least one crutch so I’m quite noticeable!
Thanks for finding me on Facebook 🙂 I shall keep my eye out for you and tweet you on the day if I can’t see you!! I wonder if we’re going to any of the same sessions – maybe we should chat on FB or twitter at some point to find out? As for the keynote, I’m mostly excited right now but ask me again half an hour before 😉
