Welcome to ‘My Slimming World Weight Loss Wednesday’ Week number 1.

 

Last week, I started this new feature on my blog. It is time to get this weight off once and for all. There are so many reasons as to why I am carrying extra weight – I take an almighty amount of medications for all of my various health complaints and there always seems to be something that stands in my way. At the moment, the biggest problem for my weight loss is the fact that I am taking part in The Great Bloggers Bake Off, where as the name suggests, each week, I bake along with the Great British Bake Off. This week was Botanical and I made a massive cake. Cake is my weakness. I’ve decided that from now on, on a Sunday, when I bake, anything goes but for the rest of the week, I need to stick to plan and reduce syns wherever possible.

I am planning my meals on a Monday for the following week so that I have time to buy online as I also need to get a tight reign on my grocery bill as I spend far too much. I’m on week one of my Vegetarian Slimming World Meal Plan if you want any inspiration.

So here we are after week 1. I have to confess that I haven’t been on plan very much. I know that my weight loss reflects this as usually in week 1, you have your best loss but I’m hoping that as I finally have my head in the right place for this, that next week’s loss will reflect this. However, a loss is a loss.

I’m not going to publish my weight as I hate how much I weigh so I have stated how many lbs I want to lose instead. My jar below is to ‘fill’ with buttons, each one representing a lb. I think a visual representation will help me ‘see’ my weight loss when I’m maybe not noticing it on my body.

My goal weight loss is: 20 lbs.

Current Weight loss : 3 lbs

5th October 2016 Weigh in = 3lbs lost

  2. The Great Bloggers Bake Off would add a few extra pounds to me also but sometimes a little cake is worth it. Your massive cake was beautiful! 3 lbs for week one is great in my book, keep up the great work

  3. 3lbs is still a good loss! I think that I would put on loads doing Great Bloggers Bake Off too but we still must enjoy the things we are used to in more considerable portions to keep us going

  5. Losing weight is hard, I lost 3.5 stone with Slimming World but it took me 3 years, I really did go the slow way around the houses! Well done for losing 3lb already though, I shall actively cheer you on from the sidelines #weekendblogshare
