Morning. Somehow, it’s that day of the week again. Friday seems to be steamrolling each week. I’m sure it’s early this week but apparently not. We’ve had a very quiet week after an eventful weekend and I think we’ve all been in need of it.

On Saturday, we had a quiet day at home, sorting a few bits, playing, relaxing and doing the odd job. Bear managed to make a very dirty job into a lot of fun….

I’ve seen chocolate bark all over pinterest in the last few years, especially at Easter and have wanted to try it but I never got round to it before adopting a vegan diet. I thought it was a chance lost until I did some research and shopping around and realised that I could still make some. It’s also a great recipe if your children are dairy free as they don’t have to miss out.

I ordered some of the bits and bobs needed to make this Easter wreath, months ago and they have been sat on my desk, waiting for Bear and I to have the time to do it. We tried 3 different ways to make the individual eggs and have 3 different ideas for you display them. Yes, this is a very sticky craft but it is fun and the outcome is worth it.

My biggest tip would be to make them in the kitchen if you have somewhere to sit as you will want to wash yours and your children’s hands quite often.

 Happy Friday!

I am hanging my head in shame. I am a terrible linky host. Life is just pretty hard right now and I’ve been keeping the linky live but not putting the effort in. However, by the time this is live, I hope to have commented on everyone’s posts and am going to stay on top of it. It’s time to stand tall, try and push the negativity away and look for the positive in everything – even if I can’t see it at first.

Today was international women’s day. The articles I have read, the social media posts I have looked at, all have all been strong, empowering and beautiful. So many people shared photos of themselves with big groups of friends and it was lovely but it really got me thinking. It’s really affected me in a way that I didn’t expect. I have never been in a friendship of a group of girls. I have lots of individual friends and am part of a threesome (not that kind) of girls who try to meet up together but I have never been someone who is part of a group.

I’ve also seen lots in the media about motherhood being a lonely business. Maybe I’m not alone?

My top 10 travel must haves…..

I have been so fortunate to have been able to travel the world and it’s something that I feel has shaped me, moulded me and made me grow as a person. The love of travel is something that I would like to pass on to Bear and I dream of the places that I could take him.

My top 10 travel must haves have changed so much. Once upon a time, I would have wanted to know how far away the nightlife was so that I knew if I could enjoy all that was on offer.
